My Mind is a Prison-Poem

My mind is a menacing prison-

That holds a lonely prisoner,

And ceaselessly torments its convict

For crimes uncommitted

-In a modern world-

Scarce has been a day that

The sunlight has set.

Yet his punishment is-

everywhere- is joy and busyness
